Important Note About Pool Area Please note that due to county regulations, the pool area is currently fenced off. As a result, the views may appear slightly different from what is shown in the listing photos upon arrival. We appreciate your understanding as we comply with local requirements to ensure safety and compliance. 24/7 Management: Our full-service, in-house 24/7 management team is always here. Dani and James, both Yucca Valley natives, are available to handle special requests, provide local recommendations, and share insider tips. If you’re interested in an in-home massage, a chef’s dinner, a rock-climbing adventure, or a guided park tour, simply let us know. We’ll arrange it at no extra charge and can secure exclusive discounts. The Fine Print :) The cabin pictured is not an extra accommodation with a bed. It is meant as an observation deck, sunset and stargazing area and a little retreat from your retreat. Please note that the pool area includes two low-profile safety fences installed near the pool, as required by the city. These were added for safety compliance and may not appear in some older photos. The pool remains fully accessible and usable. To ensure we can continue providing premium pool and spa services despite high fuel and delivery costs, a deposit is required for heating. For longer stays, please contact us to discuss special arrangements. We understand fees aren’t fun, but they help us deliver the exceptional experience you deserve. ✦ Pool heating: $200 per day and reaches 84°F; request 24+ hours in advance ✦ Spa heating: $30 per day - on-demand; heats to 102°F; please keep lid on when not in use ✦ Pet fee: $100 per pet ✦ Extra guest (above 4): $50 per night ✦ Unauthorized late check-out: $100 per hour ✦ Access via dirt roads off the highway - drive slowly; all standard cars can make it. ✦ No events, weddings, or photoshoots without prior written permission. Beautiful location for peaceful solitude! Amazing view especially at sunset. A great desert retreat.
This was perfect if you’re looking for a unique desert stay and you love beautiful things. The views and the atmosphere of the house were stunning, the pictures don’t even do it justice. It was very private and peaceful but still close enough to main road for any necessities. The location also made it accessible to hike in Joshua tree park or on the grounds around the house. The host made it easy to check in with the instructions and was proactive in anticipating your needs. I would highly recommend staying here.
The location, privacy and vibe of the dome make it one of the most unique beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. Truly unforgettable views and very kind hosts. Just to manage expectations, the outdoor area do look different from the listing and magazine photos. Partly because of fence regulations (totally understandable) and partly amenities in need of a refresh. Nothing extreme, just little fixes that would make this an automatic 5 star place. I had an unusual complication that made the pool unusable during my stay, but the hosts were very responsive and otherwise very helpful with my check in/out times. That aside, I’d likely do another short stay all over again for the wow factor of the view and privacy alone.
