A propane fire pit anchors the outdoor lounge area - perfect for evening conversations as the air cools and the sky turns lavender and gold. Multiple seating areas, shaded lounging spaces, and outdoor dining create effortless flow between relaxation and gathering. The BBQ grill makes al fresco meals easy and inviting, whether you’re cooking under the midday sun or enjoying a breezy desert evening. Sunsets here are cinematic, and the stargazing is unforgettable. With minimal light pollution and wide-open space, the night sky becomes part of the experience. -Living Area- The living area is spacious yet welcoming, blending western character with modern polish. Natural light pours through large windows, highlighting warm wood tones and curated design details. The large built-ins feature a large smart TV, perfect for movie nights in. Plush seating invites long conversations or quiet mornings with coffee. A built-in bar area adds a touch of fun and sophistication - perfect for mixing cocktails before sunset or winding down after a day exploring the high desert. The overall vibe is relaxed luxury: comfortable, charming, and effortlessly refined. -Kitchen & Dining- The kitchen is chef-friendly and beautifully appointed, featuring a Taj Mahal feature wall and stone countertops, modern appliances, and breakfast bar seating. The primary suite is a true private retreat, spacious and serene, complete with a lounge area with large, smart TV and electric fireplace. The primary bathroom offers a spa-like atmosphere with a luxurious soaking tub and a generous rain shower in the open, elevated ensuite bathroom - perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. Thoughtful finishes and natural textures create a calming sanctuary. The two additional bedrooms are light, breezy, and welcoming, each with patio doors that open to the exterior. Morning light filters in gently, and the connection to the outdoors enhances the peaceful desert ambiance. The two guest bedrooms share the second bathroom, accessible by the hallway. There is also a half bathroom for additional convenience. All bathrooms are designed with modern tile, refined finishes, and a clean, calming aesthetic. -Surrounding Area- Visit Pioneertown for a show are the famous Pappy & Harriets, or have a cocktail at Red Dog Saloon, and explore the charming shops of Mane Street. Pioneertown and the surrounding High Desert offer a uniquely cinematic landscape - vast open terrain, rugged mountains, and iconic Joshua trees stretching as far as the eye can see. We strongly recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone before arrival so you can make and receive calls using the home’s high-speed internet. If you need reliable connectivity during your stay, the property offers strong Wi-Fi suitable for streaming, messaging, and remote work. We encourage guests to download maps, park passes, and directions ahead of time, as GPS and data service may drop in certain areas of the High Desert. The limited cell service is part of what makes Pioneertown feel peaceful, quiet, and wonderfully disconnected - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the desert surroundings. -Pool Heating Fee- Should you wish to have the pool heated to 84°F, please notify us in advance of your arrival as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool. ► First day of heating is $300, Second day onward is $250 During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to 1 hour to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Pet Policy- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. -Local Experiences- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Whether you’re seeking relaxation with sound baths, yoga sessions, meditation guides, in-home massages, facials, aromatherapy or the convenience of a personal chef of caterer, you'll find options to elevate your experience. For thrill-seekers, explore rock climbing adventures, dune buggy rides, or horseback riding. Other unique experiences include guided stargazing tours under the breathtaking desert sky or guided hikes accompanied by mini donkeys! All vendor details are available in our guidebook upon booking, making it easy to craft your ideal getaway. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Wildlife & Safety- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group.
